Clinical Committee
Volunteers will practice and apply techniques such as taking vital signs, blood sugar, and blood glucose. Volunteers will also be able to dispense medications under a doctor's prescription. This branch deals with the fundraising for medications as well as teach other members of the club how to perform triage and run a clinic.
Education Committee
Volunteers will have the opportunity to teach kids about health, prevention, etc during VAW Education Day through skits, songs, or other interactive lessons. This committee also carry out survey of the community we are serving in order to find out a better way to serve them.
Club Committees
Our club is composed of two branches: Clinical committee and Education committee. Registered members of the club are placed into one of two branches and prepare prior to the trip for the medical outreach. Volunteers will provide the country's communities with access to medical treatment, medication, and health education, while being introduced to hands-on experience in healthcare situations and to medical state of certain populations.
